Why Crow Mother? Well, because Angwusnasomtaka was way complicated to pronounce for us simple folks from Amager.

And then because way too few beers are named after the proud Hopi mythology.

Tap @ Fermentoren, Aarhus, 5%. Very dark brown with small beige head. Aroma is light roasted malts, chocolate, caramel, hop, little bread and a little pine. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, caramel, hop, medium sweet, medium bitter, little bread, little pine and grapefruit.

Draught @ Fermentoren, Århus. Pours very dark brown with a creamy light tan head, some lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, toast, bread, little caramel, light citrus. Flavor is malt, toast, bready, nuts, little coffe, citrus. Thin to medium body, soft carbonation, dry light bitter finish. 080315

Dark brown with a lasting off -white head. Aroma of chocolate and caramel with a smoked note, and classic pine-citrus hop. Malty sweet flavour with a smoked and toasted note. Hoppy finish.

From tap. Pours hazy dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is fruity and roasted malty. Bitter, roasted, breadish, liqourice and light fruity. Lingering dark malty and roasted dark finish.

Tap@Ørsted Ølbar, CPH - pours dark brown with a small off-white head. Aroma and taste is sweet bready malts, medium roasty, caramel, some nice hoppy notes throughout. Not really a fan of the style but enjoyed this.

Tap @ Taphouse, Copenhagen. Hazy reddish brown an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, roasted malt, dark chocolate and moderate hoppy - citrus. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 120215
