Pours a dark reddish-purple color with maroon around the edges, and a short pinkish-white head that burns away quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lace. Aroma of grape, wheat and malt. Light-bodied with a grape soda character and touches of yeast and doughy malt in the background. The finish is lively with a concord grape aftertaste. New Glarus makes some of the best fruited beers in the world, but this grape seltzer is pretty forgettable in comparison.
