Lynnbrook, named after our founder’s family farm, is a wild Berliner-Style Weisse with raspberries added, resulting in a very refreshing beer presenting with fuchsia color and an aroma reminiscent of picking tart red raspberries growing next to an old, abandoned barn, with the raspberry-lemon aroma giving way to hints of brie and barnyard funkiness. The flavor is absent of any hops or bitterness and instead has initial impression of subtle lemon and yogurt supported by tart, fresh raspberries and underlying lactic sourness. The beer’s dry finish helps cut through some sweetness from the fruit.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear amber with a touch of pink and a white head with a pink hue that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has rich sweet raspberry up front with a growing tartness/dryness. Flavor has rich raspberry that finishes tart and dry.

Bottle @ the peteing zoo. Pours a pretty clear ruby orange appearance with an off white head. Really bright raspberry seedy, vanilla, cranberry juice nose. A bit doughy, red juicy, sought woody flavor. A little cheesy. Carbonation is a bit dull. Kind of a fun beer.
