Lynnbrook, named after our founder’s family farm, is a wild Berliner-Style Weisse with raspberries added, resulting in a very refreshing beer presenting with fuchsia color and an aroma reminiscent of picking tart red raspberries growing next to an old, abandoned barn, with the raspberry-lemon aroma giving way to hints of brie and barnyard funkiness. The flavor is absent of any hops or bitterness and instead has initial impression of subtle lemon and yogurt supported by tart, fresh raspberries and underlying lactic sourness. The beer’s dry finish helps cut through some sweetness from the fruit.

On tap at Ölrepubliken, Göteborg. Shared with little Dina and Habas. Hazy reddish golden, small off-white head. Mild sugary raspberry candy aroma, mild acidity. Moderately sour, high carbonation. Sour raspberry, ripe berries. Light body, slightly puckering finish.

(Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 27 Nov 2021) Reddish amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, sourish nose with raspberries and red fruit. Fruity, tart taste with notes of raspberries, cherries, red fruit and a dry and tart finish with low bitterness. Medium body, dry. Really tasty and refreshing, with a rich raspberry character. Very nice.

12 ounce can from Festival Northland, 5/16/20. Hazy pink, thin fizzy white head, poor retention. Aroma of tart berry, pale bready malt, a hint of pepper. Taste is tart jammy berries, funk, pepper, citrus. Medium bodied, tart.
