Bottle from Half Time. Pours amber with a slight near-creamy beige head. Warmish caramel aroma. Perhaps a touch of noble hop. It is caramel/bready and has a certain bitterness. Maybe the hop is a bit citrus. Fairly tasty, and a certain amount of bitterness builds over time. I’m guessing it’s a good explication of the style.

Bottled. A amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of straw and caramel, as well as a bit of butter. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and straw, leading to a bitter finish.

12 fl oz bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is light malty, caramelish and slight breadish. Roasted malty and slight hoppy citrusy. Bitter and roasted malty finish.

A golden ale with a thin creamy off white head. Aroma of caramel malt, nutty and fruity. In mouth, a smooth nutty malt, grainy, a bit boring and mundane. On tap ate ROC Empire Brewfest, Feb. 19 2011.

Barley and light plastic aroma. Clear amber, thin head. Rich barley malt flavor with a grainy finish. Definitely beery, fair.

Served on draft at Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA. Pours a clear strawberry red color with a thin offwhite head. Decent head retention and excellent lacing. Aroma of faint toffeeish malts and bitter hops. The taste is rasins, though mild, toffee, toasted malts and bitter hops. Medium bodied. Decent beer.

Bottle. Fruity and slightly grainy aroma. Clear amber colour. Small frothy but stable white head. The flavour is fruity, slightly grainy. Not unpleasant, but not so interesting either.

caramel color with a thin, off-white, mostly diminishing head. The aroma is simple and crisp. It is of wooden hops. It is light and soft on the tongue; smooth and clean all the way down. The flavor is straightforward noble hop character. There is a good balance between the hop aroma and hop flavor here. a nice beer on tap, better then most American domestics.
