Sample at Daily Growler UA. Pours a slightly hazy deep amber color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily to a film. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, fruit and hops. Medium body with flavors of rye malt, fruit and earthy hops. The finish is caramel malt and subtle rye. Decent overall.

Draught @ BBB. Pours clear amber with a frothy offwhite head that leaves some sparse thick trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is slightly malty and slightly fruity with rye bread, caramel, grapefruit juice, mango, freshly cut grass, pine needles, chives, green peas, moist soil and lemon zest. Taste is tiny sweet, slightly bitter, slightly malty and tiny fruity. Mouthfeel is tiny dry, astringent and light to medium bodied. Finish is tiny sweet and bitter with rye bread, caramel, grapefruit juice, unripe tropical fruits, moist grass, pine needles, chives, green peas, moist soil, minerals, orange peal and lemon zest. Too heavy on the green chlorophyll green pea hop character. --- Beer merged from original tick of I Wanna Rye-It on 13 May 2015 at 21:11 - Score: 6

Rye IPA from Brooklyn, with lightly lacing, moussy, pale beige head and hazy copper colour. Attractive aroma of marmelade, pink grapefruit flesh, toasted onion, soggy rye bread, mango. Tropical fruits in the onset, mango, passion fruit, lychee, supple mouthfeel with soft carbo, bit oily, caramelly with a ’deep’ rye sourishness and spiciness but elegantly so, lovely finish of aromatic and bittering hops, citrusy, spicy yet gentle, well in balance with juicy maltiness. Lovely beer.

Rake. Keg. Lightly hazy amber beer, small cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and as a good fine crispness. Decent rye spice blends well with the toffee streaked malts. Mild dried fruits. A burst of fruity sherbet. A spicy carbonated bite to finish. Interesting, tasty and very drinkable.

Draft at Barcade JC, 8/22/15. Pours a dark reddish color with a tan head and average lace. Smells of fruit juice, which was kinda surprising. The rye spice comes through more in the mouthfeel and the latter part of the flavor. Has a dry, spicy finish to it. Lively carbonation. Pretty drinkable overall.
