Driven by wanderlust and a desire for discovery, the Curious Traveler™ set out to explore the globe. Always fearlessly inquisitive, he relished opportunities to befriend other travelers and to experience cultures he had only previously imagined. He sampled their wares, their foods and most importantly their libations. Some were good. Some not so good. Others were downright dangerous.
Many years into his travels, his pace slowed on a particularly sweltering day. He sought refuge in a small pub to escape the oppressive heat. Before he could even finish wiping his brow, the bartender handed him a glistening glass of ale. The Traveler took a liking to the invigorating lemon shandy concoction. “Quite a refresher!” he said gratefully.
The Traveler has never stopped exploring – in fact, he’s on the road this very day. Somewhere. Only one thing has changed: he now makes sure he orders a shandy everywhere he goes.

Sample at the Big Tap In on 04/20/2013. Pours a hazy straw color with a medium thin and fizzy white head that evaporates quickly. Spotty lacing. Aroma of citrus and malt. Light-bodied and very carbonated with flavors of lemons, grain and ginger. The finish is sweet with a fruity aftertaste. Slightly below average overall.

Like no other shandy, this has lots of sediment on the bottom of the bottle. Looks like a cloudy hefe. Smell is off permanent lemon. Taste is mild brew with lemon in there, comes across rather refreshing with a slight farmy effect. Yez, unique and hypnotizing is the overall experience. Each slug causes more curiosity, should ahve purchased a couple of these. Curious if they will keep making this. Does have mild attributes of an off lambic thing. Much better than expected. Must be around 4% alky? Not really sweet. Grows on you. As session continues, lemon perfume becomes more apparent.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a cloudy yellow-apricot color with a huge foamy yellow-white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was sweet lemonade. The flavor was tart lemonade and faint vague herbs. Long lemonade finish. Light to medium body. Very one dimensional - it is what it is.

Bottle. Sweet-sour lemon and barley malt aroma. Cloudy golden yellow with large head. Light sweet-tart lemon and barley malt flavor. Not bad - not too sweet but would have like a stronger malt flavor.
