Hornsby’s Amber Hard Cider is a medium bodied cider, with a golden amber hue and notes of green apple on the noes. The taste has ripe fruit notes throughout with a full apple flavor. The finish is balanced and smooth with a tart dryness.

Green apple aroma. Dark yellow/light golden color. Clean, apple and cinnamon taste, good balance of sweet and tart. Alcohol is extremely well masked. Much better than I remember, and surprisingly good.

12 oz. bottle. Aroma of cooked apple. Maybe just overripe apple. Brassy gold color with a flash of white head. A bit thin. Very light carbonation. Something of apple cider, cider vinegar, and a little sweetness. Finish is cooked apple.

As Hornsby’s Amber Draft / Hard Cider
Deep blond color. The aroma is light, sweet, with mature apples. A good body, with balanced mix of mature apples juice, some sourness, some sweetness and the necessary carbonation. Refreshing and drinkable.

My bottle says ’amber draft’ so I don’t know if ’amber’ is the same. Smells like apple juice. Tastes like a whiskey cooler blend. Disappointing, not a real pure cider. It’s some kinda mix. Ingredients say: cider, carbonated water, dextrose, fructcose, citric acid, artificial flavors, caramel color, potassium sorbate & sulfuring agents.... This product should not even be listed on ratebeer.com’s website. Pretty crappy for a cider, if it truly is one. Will not buy again & I like cider.

bottle - Pours golden with almost no head. The aroma is sour apples.. It’s kind of sweet, but not as sweet as the Woodchuck amber that many people have had. The mouthfeel is quite bubbly for cider. The finish is dry.

Bottle. Nice aroma of pear, cinnamon and apples. Light amber color. Sweet-tart apple flavor - moderate carbonation. A nice drinking cider

Blah. Overshadowing any real flavor is the sweetness, and a dry one at that. It's like they remembered to not make this too sweet, but then forgot to do anything else with it. A little softer than the draft cider, more fruit tones.
