Bottle. Better Beer Of The Month Club. Cloudy yellow-orange with a big white head. Floral aroma, spicy and citric, with yeast, some hops and grassy notes. Rather dry flavor, yeasty and mildly hoppy, floral, spicy, citric and a bit grassy, and a bitter finish with a light alcoholic note. Medium-bodied. Decent.

Bottled. Nose of biscuit, lemon, Belgian yeast, wheat. Bright pastel gold, cloudy, with a high, fine head. Crisp lemony flavor, light bread, nicely bitter. Good overall balance and flavor. A lovely, crisp, and fruity light Belgian hoppy blonde.

12 ounce bottle from Wine Warehouse, opened 6/4/14. Pours a clear golden color with a large pillowy light tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of doughy, bready malt, yeast, caramel, spicy hops. The taste is stone fruits, bread, yeast, spice, spicy hops. Medium bodied, high carbonation, decent balance, fairly refreshing. Would be decent at a ball game.

Bottle. Pours with a mostly clear golden yellow hued body with a large foamy/rocky white head that lasts. Aromas are estery with dried pear, floral hops, and strong peppery phenols. Mild citrus. Mild malt character but the nose is mostly yeast driven. Flavors are bready, toasted malt, dry, estery, mild fruity, pear, underripe banana. Medium bitterness with a slightly dry bitter balance. A touch oily yeast notes on the palate. High level of carbonation. Dry, easily drinkable. Pretty decent belgian blond.

Pour is a cloudy yellow with an average white head. Aroma is yeasty, lemony with some light fruit. Flavor is more of the yeast, some bone dry pale malts and some flowery hops. Finish has a bit of tartness. This is a pretty solid beer for summer. More flavor then your average blonde ale.

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Aroma of light malt and floral, fruit and mild spice. Med body, almost. Foamy carb. Flavor is very floral, very light malt, spice, and finishing sort of towards veg. Nice to start over with a floral/spice each quaff. Not too sure about the veg. Overall it’s very drinkable, and close to sessionable.

Pours told into a tulip. Bright white head with good retention recedes leaving spot lacing to coat surface. Banana and bubblegum aromas. Soft with sweet banana and summer fruit upfront turning to bitter earth in the lasting finish.

Coriander, spicy Belgian yeast, dandelion, funk. Hazy amber, thick head, good lacing. Spice, thyme, lemongrass, dandelion subtle pear underneath. Nice hop flavor and aroma, low bitterness, deliciously quaffable. Light body, prickly mouthfeel. Wonderful nuance and subtleties in a session beer. Orval-lite, in a very good way.

As expected, a beautifully vrafted blond ale, very yeasty in aroma and taste. Hazy golden body with small creamy head. Delicious!
