Can from trade with CLW--thanks, Chris! Beautiful, clear gold, nice sparkle, thin head with good retention, light lacing. Aroma is strong pilsner/pale malts, honey. Taste follows aroma with late minerals. Smooth texture, soft carbonation and dry finish with hint of bitterness. As they said, a hybrid between lager and ale. Kolsch-y enough to belong in the style but not the greatest representative of the style. While I kind of liked that, this could be disappointing to devotees of the style.
