Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 20/01/2026.
Hazed orange to light amber topped with an off white cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is orange zest, grass, grapefruit, melon, citric tinged straw.
Taste comprises orange pith, melon, pine flicker, grass, mandarin.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close
Okay DIPA but a little pedestrian by Phantom's usual standards.

Can. A light haze on this gold beer, small but reasonably persistent bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Somewhat thin bodied pale malts, sweet but far from the Phantom norm of a pronounced creamy sweetness. Light cooling pine. A fair amount of tangy citrus and stone fruits, mild candy fruits. Mellow hop spice. Light finish. Curious offering. Somewhat thin and tangy. Far from the splendid 'Nothing But The Truth' I quaffed earlier. Yeah, one of the weaker Phantom dipas I can recall.
