Imperial Christmas Stout brewed with maple syrup. Aged in a blend of Bissell Maple and Irish Whiskey barrels for 15 to 29 months, then conditioned on Ghana toasted and raw cocoa nibs and a soft touch of cinnamon sticks.

Draught Huge dark greige head, shortlived over ruby-shot black beer. Booze, whiskey, Bourbon (yes); raisins, roast, sweet candi, but also ketjap manis; rumbonen. Sweet roast, cookes, gingerbread. Chocolate, mocha. Again rum, vanilla, rumbonen , sweet walnut. Alcoholheat, very slick, oily and viscous. Sticky texture despite good carbonation. Sweet, if quite good Imperial Stout.
