14% ABV 300ml bottle, clearly says it's Junmai, but we've got it as a Namasake? Anyway this is clear and water like in appearance. I'm no expert on Sake, but this is better than all of the ones I've had before. I drank the whole bottle myself!

300ml bottle from Japan Centre. Clear with a very pale yellow hint, no head and aroma of rice, earthy, boozy. Taste is rice, mellow, fruity, with some earthy hints and boozy notes. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry finish. Nicely drinkable.

Bottle. Indistinguishable from water. Aroma of almonds, dough, some lemon. A bit of body. Still. Not all that sweet, no overt alcohol. Just tastes a little tired and like it needs a little nip of astringency or alcohol at the end to finish.

Drunk cold (highly recommended temperature). The color is straw yellow. The olfactory persistence is considerable. The taste on the nose - dominant aroma responds to fermented rice. The taste on the nose - secondary aromas find fruitiness, dried apricot and pineapple. The first impression of intensity in the mouth is of medium strength’s sake. The body is round. The taste intensity is normal, and the taste persistence is sufficient. On the palate the sweetness is medium. On the palate the body is of medium intensity. The taste is pleasant. On the palate there are hints of pear, apricot and banana. Plus, drunk at room temperature (recommended temperature) (My vote 6.4/10). The consistency of the liquid is clear. The color is a hint of yellow. The olfactory persistence is short. The taste on the nose - secondary aromas belong to vanilla, melon and plum. The body is medium. The final mouthfeel is easy to drink. The aroma in the mouth is directed towards white peach and dried apricot.

Bottle. Poured a very lightly hazed white color. Still. Aroma was light alcohol notes, some light fruit perhaps. Definite rice? Flavor of slightly sweet alcohol. Served sort of cold - I think we kept asking them to chill it more and more because it was 100 degrees outside. Pretty drinkable and clean.
