Made in the Tochigi Prefecture. Very light and fruity nose that almost jumps out at you, with a crisp flavor profile. Light overall, but with a mature and confident mellowness. Tentaka sake is brewed with water drawn from an underground stream that originates in the Yamizo and Nasu mountain ranges.

Clear crystial water colour with no head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy rice, fruity, alcohol, pineapple notes. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, rice. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20120421]

bottle at home ... clear viscous ... soft light raw alcohol ... soft mellow rice nose... light rough alcohol front ... almost spicy ... but mostly just quite a lot of alcohol... almost raki (so maybe hints of aniseed in there)
