Bottle split at ABC Beer The Hague, 24/09/2015. Thanks. Opaque black / brown coloured pour with a halo of tan head. Aroma is smooth roast, pine hop, caramel malts. Flavour is composed of cocoa, apple, toasted malts, roasted barley. Palate is medium sweet, rounded, moderate carbonation. Lingering woody caramel.

Draught@Taphouse, Copenhagen (backlog). Black colour, small head. Aroma is ripe fruits, liquorice, some berries and mild roasted notes. Flavour is liquorice, alcohol, some nutty and wooden notes along with mild toffee. Nice balance as for the flavour.

[9/24/15] Bottle sample at the pre-Borefts tasting at ABC Beers in Den Haag. Thanks everyone who shared bottles! Dark brown to black. Aroma of dark fruits, caramel, licorice. Sweet flavor with caramel, dark fruits, licorice, alcohol. Medium-bodied.
