Prominently featuring Citra hops, our Citra Pale Ale delivers pungent grapefruit and tropical fruit aromas on the nose with a semi-dry finish. Juicy notes imparted by the hops pair with the light caramel malt character to balance this drinkable, “go-to” American Pale Ale.

12 ounce can from a 6 pack, best May 19th.
A: Clear vibrant gold with over a finger of foam. Splendid bit of lacing.
S: Smells grassy, of grapefruit and orange peel, caramel malt, tropical fruits but only when I take deep long whiffs.
T: Balanced taste. Orange peel and caramel mostly. Grapefruit I get near and through the finish; that’s where it is most bitter and shakes off the balance.
I don’t get much of a tropical fruit flavour from first sip, mid palate or finish.
M: Nice mouthfeel and very drinkable.
O: This is a very good and easy drinking APA. Cheers to Upslope.

Many thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Pours clear deep amber colour with a small light beige head. Aroma of resinous hops, citrus, peaches. Taste is very hoppy, citrus, resins, plums, nuts, interesting!

Nice fresh floral nose. The beer starts sweetish-soft with a nice fresh floral hoppy aroma. Quite weak in body with watery hints. The hops are present, round and floral. But this is the only great thing here. The body is sweetish and weak, no bitterness there. The floral hops in the aftertaste can’t cover the rest of this beer. Sad - especially for this AVB - but sessionable!
