Bottle 720ml. @ [ Edinburgh Danish Invasion Tasting) by cgarvieuk - Edinburgh ].

Muddy - milky - coconut colour with no head. Loads of tiny small body particles. Aroma is moderate to heavy alcohol - rice, sweet coconut, pineapple, ruff. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, fruity, rice, grainy. Body is medium, texture is creay, carbonation is flat, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20120422]

300 ml bottle. Strangest sake I’v ever had. Tried to mix the lees into the liquid, but I guess I didn’t do it well enough. The first cup was wonderful: Rich, thick, white and cloudy, milky, fruity aroma. Sweet and fruity flavor, cherry, vanilla, citrus, Sprite, rice and kasu. Milky, creamy, with minimal funk. 6/3/7/4/15. By the bottom of the bottle it had turned to sludge. Thick, nasty, basically undrinkable: 6/1/5/1/7. Way too much of the solids are left in this. I watered it down with some regular dry sake to drink, my score is the average.
