Sampled at Kyoto Isetan along with 4 over Yaegaki sakes. Clearly the best, and the most expensive. 3 years later, I enjoyed a bottle at home. Slightly yellow tint. Nose is fruits and spices, with peaches, melon, pepper. Rich junmai rice as well. These came on stronger in the flavor, nice estery fruits, dry peppery finish. There is a nice level of acidity too, approaching a yamahai flavor, and very rich and tasty rice. Not overly sweet, but very well balanced. Full bodied, rich and smooth. Very nice. Much fuller than the Blue Label Daigin.
