Our Kolsch-style ale is 5.3% ABV and 30 IBUs. We use pale, pilsner, and white wheat malt, cluster hops, and S.S. Steiner Experimental Hop #7270. The Meyer lemon finds its way into the beer using lemon juice concentrate, lemon granules from dried lemon peel, and the coolest part, hand-squeezed, fresh, lemon juice from local Meyer lemons that folks around the brewery brought in from their own backyards. - See more at: http://www.anchorbrewing.com/blog/california-uncommon-a-kolsch-style-ale-made-with-meyer-lemons.

Keg at World of Beer Charlottesville, thanks to Travlr. Slightly hazy golden thin creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of doughy malt, herbal hops. The taste is doughy malt, grassy hop. Thin medium bodied.

Growler @ #WoB. Pours a clear golden/straw color. Thin white head with no lacing to speak of. Aroma is of grain, cracker malt, grassy hops, and a touch of lemon. Taste is very similar; cracker like malt, grassy hops, and a touch of lemon. Light bodied with a crisp dry finish. Nice example of the style.
