Local coffee roaster, Black Hand Coffee Company, put an indelible stain on our recipe book. In this collaborative affair, we used a special blend of Black Hand’s in-house roasted coffee beans. Freshly crushed light roast coffee beans and roasted Georgia pecans were blended inside of oak barrels with a malty Belgian dubbel style of beer. Take a sip of this concoction and you, too, will be back on the beat. Chance to win prizes by posting a photo showing us how you enjoy Strangeways coffee in bed: #coffeeinbed @StrangewaysRVA

Draft - Nice rich ground bean and a bit of spice. Cloudy copper with a thin white head. Coffee and a little milk sweetness. Some caramel notes in the finish. I don’t know if the fruitiness of the double really shows up.
