Oukaichirin Daiginjo is daiginjo-shu brewed with Yamadanishiki which is one of the best types of rice for brewing sake, and the rice is specially from Yokawa-cho, special A district for cultivating it.

This sake has a mellow flavor, and the rice used for this sake is highly polished. It can be enjoyed with the tastes which is brewed from the best ingredients and traditional skills.

Bottle shared thanks to Zer0. Appearance like water. Aroma of lychee, rice, lightly floral notes, yoghurt and light fruity notes. Flavour is above moderate sweet. Medium bodied with alcohol warmth in the finish and soft carbonation.

Bottle shared thanks to Zer0, thanks a lot for this! Very clear, almost colorless. Peach, light flowery, sweet rice, alcohol, rice pudding, yoghurt, lychee. Doughy sickly dank weird rice. Quite sweet with some alcoholic bitterness. Full bodied and no carbonation. Fruity and refined, I get that this is very well made, but I almost never drink sake and it’s not something I enjoy much as a drink so it feels very hard to score this.
