Once a year, homebrewers are encouraged to send us their best brews. This time was the fourth time we invite a homebrewer to join us and Siren for a collaborative brew. Dave Strachan submitted a beautiful coconut Porter and so we decided to play along on that theme. Brewed with maple syrup and aromas.

Аромат, один из лучших в принципе за всю историю. Просто мощнейшие ноты от кофе, прям зерна, далее немного клинового сиропа, на оттенке коричневый сахар и карамелью, на оттенке немного кокоса, жженочка от портера все таки на месте, в целом очень приятно и сильно. Вкус тоже начинается сладко. Уже больше кокоса но меньше сиропа. При глотке карамель, но и кофе, зерна и даже бобы. Есть горчинка не малая от жженки портерной. Послевкусие по большей части кофейное, мощное. Хотя потом и шоколад появляется вместе со сладкой составляющей. В целом один из лучших портеров сладких. Но надо отметить что пил версию 2020 года.

Bottled 330ml. -at Goblet Zagreb, shared with Hrabren. Pitch black coloured, minimal head, chocolate, coconut and light barrel in the nose. Roasted malt, dark chocolate, coconut, maple, notes of alcohol and some barrel with sweet finish. Bit oily.

0.33 l bottle shared with Ogi at Goblet Beer Store, Zagreb. Oily dark brown, minimal head. Aroma is toasty, nutty, cookie, chocolate, brownie, molasses, coconut. Smooth, alcohol hidden. Oily, slick, still quite drinkable. Medium body. Flavour is roasty, chocolatey, nutty, oaky, sweet molasses, not too sweet, some roasty bitterness, some wood presence drying it out. Good balance overall. Lasting semi-dry finish.

Svart med lys brunt skum. Lukter lønnesirup, mørk sjokolade, karamellfudge og noe nøtter. Fyldig. Søt. Noe bitter brent lønnesirup, mørk sjokolade, kaffe og vanilje. Middels lang.

Svart med lys beige skum. Lukter lønnesirup, pistasj, vanilje. Smooth med smak av lønnesirup, nøtter. Avslutning med noe salt lakris.
