7/7/2018. Bottle from Bottle Shop Heroes, Wood Green. This one is Junmai #3, bottled August 2017, 14% abv. A variant of the original entry rather than needing a new entry I'd say. Pours clear, virtually colourless with just the slightest yellow tint, and no head. Aroma of rice, green melon, slight peppery and spicy notes. Moderate sweetness, minimal bitterness, hint of sour. Moderate body, oily texture, very soft to flat carbonation. Had a light coconut milk finish developing. Quite taken by this one.

330ml bottle from Hop Burns & Black. Slightly hazy very pale yellow colour, no head and aroma of rice, boozy. Taste is rice, alcohol, fruity, melon, drying, alongwith peppery, grassy and meaty notes. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, dry warm boozy finish. Nicely sippable.
