Flagship Series. A delicious Oatmeal Stout with just enough hops to balance the copious quantities of dark roasted malts, oatmeal for a creamy smooth drinkability, and whole vanilla beans for a rich complexity.

The Aromas are vanilla, roast, black patent and cocoa. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, roast stands out and fairly Sweet at First with a lingering bitterness coming in. Okay body and carbonation.

Bottle shared. Pours a deep brown to black with a finger of foam that lingers. Huge vanilla bean nose, caramel and milk chocolate. Light with more of the same on the palate. Creamy vanilla. Chris brought this one too me from a trip to Utah. +++ Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a black color with a large foamy brown head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was dry, roasty, woody and had notes of vanilla and floral hops. The flavor was bitter, dryish and toasty with cocoa, coffee, vanilla, wood and a hint t of red meat. Long finish. Moderately full bodied and smooth. Nice.

On tap at St. Augistine’s. Pours a very dark brown with a brown head. Aroma brings out chocolate cake note with vanilla notes. Same character taste and aftertaste with hoppy and burnt malt bitterness. Excellent!
