4oz pour at Churchkey comes a murky gold with plenty of creamy, white head. Nose has a lovely bouquet of tropical fruit, guava, passion fruit, mango, grass, mild chive, straw, light sweetness. Nose is quite inviting. Flavor is extremely juicy, guava and mango, some dried pineapple, chivey, some nice garlic scape, mild candy, a little biscuit backbone. Medium bodied, dry and zippy finish.

Pour is a hazy blonde with a large white head. Aroma is all things tropical fruits with brett yeasty esters. Flavor is more of the tropical fruit. You can’t tell if it’s from the mango and guava or the hops used. Very juicy junior. Finish is Funky and super dry. It’s gone in seconds but leaves you begging for another sip. This was a definitely in the solid category.

Poured from a bottle dated 03/24/2015. Aroma is super fruity with a ton of mango and passion fruit. Some moderate citrus and pineapple notes as well. This aroma is everything that I love about Brett IPAs. Faint spicy phenolic notes. Pours a slightly hazy, bright, yellow gold with a fairly large, frothy, white head that exhibits good retention. Moderate lacing and small legs. Flavor starts out slightly sweet with some cracker malt notes. Medium high to high bitterness. Moderate tropical fruit and citrus notes. Lots of pineapple, mango and passion fruit. Light, spicy phenolic note. Some orange and tangerine. A bit of an herbal hop note. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, this beer is an amazing Brett IPA; everything I look for in this style. Super fruity without much of a phenolic conflict. Nice bitterness. Balanced hop and yeast character.
