Special pure rice. Ten years koshu sake. Cherry blossom. In 2013, to celebrate our 120th years anniversary, we have created a limited-edition sake – “Tokubestu Junmai Karesansui 10 year aged sake”. It is an aged sake (Junmai / pure rice sake) that is fermented for 10 years at a low temperature. It has a beautiful amber color and a deep scent which embraces your mouth. You can enjoy its rich and mild lingering taste served hot (50 ℃) or cold. Rice type: Yamagata Local sake rice. Polishing ratio (seimaibuai) (精米歩合): 55%. Sake Meter Value (nihonshudo) (日本酒度): +5. Acidity: 1.7. Serving temperature: chilled ○ room ○ warm◎. Bottle size: Bottle size: 720 ml, 1800 ml.

Drank at room temperature. The consistency of the liquid is clear. The color is straw yellow. The olfactory intensity is high and lasts sufficiently. The nose taste - dominant aroma is of malted rice Koji. The nose taste - secondary aromas include coconut, vanilla, honey, popcorn, spices and caramel. The first impression of intensity in the mouth is of powerful sake. The aroma on the tongue is heavily dry. The body is full. The flavor intensity is high, and the persistence is good. The taste is pleasant. The final mouth sensations are of drinkable sake. The roof of the mouth carries hints of honey, soy sauce, dried fruit, umami, caramel, cognac, Vin Santo, vanilla, white-fleshed peach, melon, dried, mushroom, spring water and anise.
