Once a year, homebrewers are encouraged to send us their best brews. This time was the fourth time we invite a homebrewer to join us and Siren for a collaborative brew. Dave Strachan submitted a beautiful coconut Porter and so we decided to play along on that theme. Brewed with maple syrup and aromas.

Sampled at Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2017. Very dark brown pour with a tan head. Tons of maple syrup, chocolate, toffee, roasted coffee, bitter espresso, light barrel notes - all sorts of good stuff. Keg @ BBB. Viscous pitch black pour with a sthin mocha head. Big roasty maple chocolate vanilla bourbon barrel nose. Tons of roasted pecans & coconut. Maple level is pretty much insane. Light raisins. Sweet, bitter, malty, roasty & nutty taste. Viscous round slightly boozy decadent mouthfeel. Insane beer with tons of barrel & maple. Awesome nuttiness. Awesome dessert beer.
