This Umeshu is of the Jukusei (ripening) type, that is, it is made with ripened plums, resulting in an orange drink. The added alcohol comes from aged shochu. Therefore, this umeshu is fuller-bodied, woody and complex. Used one of the best plum from local farm in Takashiho, Miyazaki. This Umeshu is one of the signature product of Takashiho Brewery. Plums were soaked with wheat shochu genshu Alc. 40% and acidity and sweetness gets extracted from plums without any artificial flavor/coloring. It was aged for more than one year and it has fruity aroma, natural and rich flavor of plums. Sweet, fruity liqueur, with a light plum flavour, ideal for creating original aperitif cocktails. To be enjoyed cold, on the rocks, or at room temperature. Bottle size: 300 ml, 720 ml.
