24/10/2024. Sake cup bought at a gift shop in pouring rain at Mount Fuji Station 5. Enjoyed on the bullet train from Tokyo to Kyoto. Colour is clear virtually colourless just a very slight yellow tint. Aroma is boozy, rice water, sweet melon, light caramel, some rough alcohol notes. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness and body. Quite smooth, no carbonation. Doesn’t finish as harsh as the aroma suggested it might. It’s okay.
