Truly a rating I made months ago or so I think. Happy I saved my notes, here I go again. A stop at the brewery with our British friends on a loop through the Mediterranean. This beer was a special brewing, limited time of availability. That was all right by me, glad to get this one. A half liter each for me and Frank, it arrived jet black with a creamy tan head that did not disappear. The drink was strongly hoppy, burnt grain, a bit of chocolate and had a nice sensation. Bitter but not over the top as befits the style. Nice.
