Bottle at home. Pours black, nose is chocolate, marshmallow, coconut, vanilla, caramel, nutty, taste is similar, bit of prune. Quite boozy at first but mellows. 8

Bottle stamped 10/23/2025.
Poured into a snifter.
Appearance: dark brown close to black in color with a fizzy head that didn't leave any lace but left small filmy to oily looking spots on top
Aroma: loads of boozy/bourbon coated peanuts with some vanilla to hazelnut-like sweet tones, light notes of milk chocolate intertwining nicely
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a fine variety of different sweet qualities; finishes somewhat slick with some boozy heat
Texture: medium bodied; this is a sipper; not as smooth as I was hoping for as the boozy heat seems to allow some stickiness coating the tongue; though the carb seemed as far as I believe
Overall: either I didn't age this correctly or Prairie didn't execute this exactly correct. This isn't an awful beer - it's just not to the level of a good amount of their other impy pastry stouts.

Bottle from Tavour: pours ugly with no head and literal floaties on top of the beer... not flat just headless. Aroma is loads of nutella and what not along with a hefty helping of booze. Taste is sweet, somewhat boozy, nutty. Peanuts abound. Fine, I suppose.

12 oz. bottle, pours black with a small light brown head. Nose is full of peanut butter, hazelnut chocolate spread, dark sugars, and some bourbon. Flavour is sweet and pastryrific, with lots of peanut butter, nutella, and gentle bourbon to round things out. Integrated flavours, but a bit gimmicky and lacking elegance. Very tasty for what it is though.

330mL bottle. Pours black with a minimal beige head. Tons of peanut butter creme, hazelnut, and toasted marshmallows on the nose. Flavour is very much that of a pastry stout, lots of peanut and hazelnut creme. Nice bourbon flavour as well, but the primary contribution of the bourbon barrels is to cut back on the sweetness. It's a bit absurd, but they managed to pull it off pretty well.

Bottle. Aroma is thick hazelnut, chocolate, and mild peanut. Flavor follows with the addition of marshmallow. Plus a very soft bourbon. Mild booze in the finish. The barrel almost balances this. Slick / viscous texture over the tongue. Great flavors. However, this is a rich bitch.
