Bourbon barrel-aged barleywine, brewed with Maris Otter, Munich, brown sugar, and lots of caramel malt. Ten malts, a long boil, and barrel aging came together to create a complex barleywine with notes of rich caramel, oolong tea, bruleed sugar, and well-aged spirit.

Sample from 2022 bottle during Blarney Wine Festival 2023 on 03/19/2023. Dark mahogany pour with a medium thin light beige head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Small patches of lace. Caramel malt, bourbon, dark fruit and hops in the nose. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, raisin, vanilla and caramel malt. The finish is oaky and boozy with a bourbon and malt aftertaste. Good Barley Wine all around.
