Keg at Open Gate, London. It pours slightly hazy yellow with a medium bubbly white head. The aroma is fragrant, coriander seeds, damp grain, straw, orange peel and wheat bread. The taste is firmly dry, bitter, toasty grains, earthy, fragrant, herbal, coriander seeds, grass, orange peel, slight soapy and woody. Average body and moderate carbonation. Not as drinkable as I would have expected. Very run of the mill.

Half-pint, draught at the brewpub. Shared with Magne. Dotted spots on the glassware from a fair white head, golden body with a haze of wheat. Slightly spiced fruity hops on the nose. Mixed taste of Belgian yeast strain, wheat, and a spicy bite. Mid-sweet yeast fruity ending. Soft and quite refreshing. Decent. (Covent Garden, London 02.03.2026).

Tap at the Guinness open gate brewery London. A translucent golden orange coloured pour with a lasting fine white head. Aroma is soft floury wheat, wishy washy Belgian yeast, apple, custard. Fennel. Flavour is composed of soft floury wheat, soapy notes. Fennel mellow Belgian notes. Palate is semi sweet, powdery airy carbonation. Lingering green veg nettle. Very meh

Tap at the brewpub. Hazy-opaque gold. Thick foamy white head. Aroma has herbs, yeasty, lightly banana. Flavourwise it's light sour with a herbal bitterness. Underlying banana and yesst sweetness. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Decent characterful Wit.
