16oz can pours an opaque black with some tan head. Nose has malt, molasses, nutty medium roast coffee, some toasted almonds. Flavor has burnt toast, cocoa powder, medium coffee grounds. Full bodied but dry. Nicely balanced.

Draft. Strong coffee malt with light chocolate notes. Dark chestnut brown with small head. Bittersweet creamy coffee malt and moderately bitter herbal hay flavor. Nice body. Very pleasant.

Draft at the source. Deep maroon color, tan head. Aroma of coffee grounds. Taste has coffee, of course, but the beeriness is up front. Nice body also.
