Cask at The Redgarth, Oldmeldrum. It pours clear copper with a small, bubbly white head. The aroma is earthy, woody, brown bread, toasty grains, cereal, toasted nut and ryvita. The taste is firmly dry, bitterness which lingers, toasted nut, cereal, woody, leather, brown bread, oatcakes and earth with a rather drying, toasty finish. Light body and soft carbonation. Plenty of flavour for the abv. Nice one. Glad to finally try on their beers. Moreish for sure.
