Cannabis-inspired wheat ale.
A collaboration with our good “buddies” at Seventh Son Brewing. This hazy wheat ale got a post-fermentation addition of terpenes from Abstrax Hops. These terpenes come from all over the natural world (tropical fruits, flowers, hops) and are designed to emulate specific weed strains. The blend we used in this beer is called “Gelato”.

Sample at the brewpub as part of Ohio Brew Week on 07/18/2025, during the 10th Anniversary celebration. Clear golden color with a thin white head that burns away quickly to a film. Short strings of lace. Aroma of fruit, herbal wheat and malt. Medium body with a dank and herbal wheat character, and notes of fruit and toasty malt. The finish is wheaty with an herbal fruity aftertaste. Weird, but decent overall.
