Bottle at Dégust, Hoogeveen. Aroma is strong oak and peated scotch whiskey with barley malt, light dried fruits, and some idodine. Flavour is above medium sweeet and moderate bitter. Body is medium. A bit too rough with too heavy whiskey character, lacks refinement, too sharp.

Tap at L.I.B.Leiden: Brown colored brew with an more sweet than an dry bitter taste, hints of roasted malts, peat, chocolate, whiskey and dried fruits. Little bit more balance and the rating will be better.

Bottle. dark brown color. Caramel, peat and iodine in the aroma and flavor. Malty sweet. Not very well balanced. Low on carbon. Could be so much better.

Bottle sampled at THT December. Clear reddish brown with beige head. Medicinal peat, sweet malts, tannins, dried berries, soft herbs, plastic. Medium sweet, bitter and sour. Over medium bodied. A waste of good whisky.

Sampled from bottle at NSBF Den Bosch. Dark brown to black color, medium sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, peat, smoke, bacon, lightly fingerpaint we used in school as a kid. Not over the top but I still don't like those peated beers very much.

Gedronken tijdens Bierfestival in Den Bosch. Donkerbruin helder bier met beige schuim. Aroma en smaak van gebrand hout. Nasmaak is zoetig.
