Grisette is inspired by the soft session beers of Belgium. The blond color, notes of floral European hops and delicate, dry finish create a complex, yet very approachable beer. This farmhouse table beer was aged in wine barrels with Brettanomyces for six months. [Released 9/5/2014]

A - A very light orange yellow color with a 2 finger solid white head.

S - Smells really good. Loads of wheat aroma, lemon, very flora. Smells really nice.

T - Very light taste, very simple, just an overall solid tartness, wheat body, lemon, lime, wheat

M - Decent mouthfeel, pillow-like, cotton, bright

O - Good beer, solid with a lot of bitterness toward the finish. It’s just a very basic beer.

Blend #3 on tap at RateBeer Best. It pours a yellow color with a white head. The aroma is soft and funky with some light lemon water. The flavor is very dry and light with some hay, salt and lemon water. High carbonation and mildly tart in the finish. Good and immensely drinkable.

Draught @ CBC2015. Pours pretty much clear pale golden with a frothy white head that leaves some thick lacing on the glass while dissipating. Smell is tiny fruity estery and slightly spicy phenolic with crackers, red pears, hay, dry soil, minerals, sheet metal, white pepper corns and lemon zest. Taste is tiny sour, tiny bitter, slightly fruity estery and slightly spicy phenolic. Mouthfeel is crisp, dry, slightly tart and light bodied. Finish is sour with crackers, red pears, hay, dry soil, white pepper corns and lemon zest. Fair refreshing saison.

Draft: (Batch #3) Light, hazy yellow with a foamy white head. Light, lemon and grain, brett aroma. Flavour is very delicate....soft brett.....lemon, wood. Extremely nice.

Aroma is light to moderate malty, wheat, moderate yeasty, herbs, yeast, saison yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, herbs, yeast, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150501]
