Poured into a lager glass, the appearance was a ruddy burnt dark amber close to brown color with a thin finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated immediately. Some light stringy lacing glosses along the sides of the glass.
The aroma starts off with a sweet bready to red delicious apples blending upon subtle tones of cocoa powder.
The flavor embraces the bready sweet malts initially and then brings about the apples and cocoa. Nice semi-sticky bready sweet aftertaste yielding to a refined sliding finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Low carbonation. Clean lager smoothness rolls over my tongue.
Overall, an absolutely wonderful Munich Dunkel lager that I would love to have again, preferably with its food.

11.2 oz. bottle. Pours a clear dark brown with a cream-colored head. Aroma of malt and roast. Taste is dark bread, roasted malts, coffee, hazelnut, and chocolate notes. It definitely exceeded my expectations.

BOTTLE 33 CL. Clear chestnut brown, beige head. Warm toasted bread aroma, a little oily, fecal and spicy. The taste is clearly toasted bread crust, slightly sweet with notes of almond/marzipan. The finish is light bitter with roasty and spicy hoppy notes. Regular lager body with average carbonation. Pretty nice.
