Bottle stamped enjoy by 8/3 A: Clear dark tea color with quickly falling tan head and spotty lace. S: Sweet roasty scent with faint chocolate. T: Again sweet hints of chocolate and roasted malt with light lingering tartness from herbal or leafy hops. M: Very thin texture even for 4.9% with lively carbonation and watery finish. O: Not bad, especially for a Euro-lager. I'd buy again in a pinch.

Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from Greg & Jane's Beer and Wine. Appearance is clear, dark red with nice sparkle, 1/2 finger-width beige head with poor retention and spotty lacing. Aroma is nice roasted malts, like lightly burned toast, dark chocolate. Taste is roasted malts, light chocolate and earthy European hops. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with thin texture, soft-to-average carbonation and dry finish as taste. Overall, a nice, crisp, lightly sweet treat.
