355ml can. Clear, darkest brwon colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, tan head. Sweet-ish, roasty, dark malty aroma, notes of coffee, mocha, roasted coffee beans, some dark caramel, dark toffee. Taste is sweet-ish, roasty, dark malty, notes of coffee, toffee, roasted coffee beans, mocha, some dark caramel, minimally fruity hoppy and metallic overtones. Watery texture, slightly dry, minimally repellent palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Nice coffee flavours, well controlled sweetness, sadly a bit watery and minimally metallic - pretty decent.

4 day old can A: Poured an attractive ruby tinged black with a short tan head that fell quickly to a lasting ring and cap. S: Rich fresh coffee, toast and chocolate aroma. T: Bitter and roasty notes give way to nutty flavors. Hazelnuts, molasses and vanilla mingle with fresh roast coffee. Earthy hop and dry woody notes end the sip. M: Light mouthfeel for 6%. Stiff carbonation and smooth slick texture. Finish is clean and dry. O: Very good in all aspects, especially the unfolding flavors. Highly recommended and well worth a buy.

Pour is a black with a huge tan head. Aroma is a big dose of bakers chocolate with some cacao. The coffee did not really show up the much but everything else did. Flavor is some bitter coffee and again some bitter bakers chocolate. Not a huge coffee with this beer but just enough to give this a decent score.

Tallboy can from Beer Run, 6/4/16. Yeah, I was chugging coffee last time I closed at work. Dark brown, medium foamy brown head, average retention. Aroma of strong, intense coffee, roasted malts, mild tobacco. The taste is leather, coffee, roast, cherries, mild tobacco and vanilla. Medium bodied, chewy, low carbonation, mild lingering bitterness. Nice beer.
