Rating #5700! Completely clear golden and very lightly honeyed golden coloured body with a faint off-white head that fades very fast. Aroma of unmistakable, super pungent lime, that shows some authenticity, but a lot fakeness and artificial scents seem more possible. The aroma also shows some grain, cleanser, a bit of light hops, alcohol and a kick of yeast - very interesting, but the lime (real or not?) is by far the strongest smell. Light-bodied; Astringent, super effervescent flavour with a ridiculously fake lime flavour, showing some mint (odd), grass, tartness, sour funk, grass, herbs, vegetables and a bit of better lime flavour near the end that again, shows a touch of rind. Aftertaste is funky with the yeast, grass, funk, hay and astringent aspects coming first, but then shows some strong limes - real or fake, they show through decently with the tartness actually stronger, somehow, then the lime sweetness. Overall, an interesting beer, but one’s that oddly familiar with the Lindeman’s (the first ones I ever really had) series of ’lambics’ that hit the fruit category that are relatively easy to please and still transcendent of a real beer. I sampled this 37,5 cL split bottle purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 22-December-2015 for US$8,81 sampled at home in Washington as beer #5700 on 08-October-2016!

Bottle...Pours pale cloudy yellow, similar to lemoncello. A fluffy head that shies away quickly after the pour...a very tangy/tartness to the whole thing....sour aroma and flavor blended with the lime...but it has a funky aftertaste...not my favorite, but a good concept

Draft at Blue Dog. Clear pale yellow color, flat. Aroma of bright lime. Taste is tart lime. A bit odd, but it works well enough.

Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a cloudy pale yellow color with a medium sized soapy white head that faded quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was tart and had the presence of a watered down margarita. The flavor was tart watered down margarita, lime, windex and salt. Medium length lime and salt finish. Light body.
