19th June 2026Dealing With The Devil again tasting at CBJ. Thanks to Wingman. Near clear dark brown beer, small and short lived bubbly tan head. Pretty light palate considering this is pushing 26%. Airy smooth palate, mildly dry, good fine carbonation. Pretty light bodied dark malts but, good dark chocolate and a little dark malt cream. Hugely rich bourbon but, delivered in a such a light palate. Rich ripe fruity bourbon. Good oak induced vanilla. Alcohol spice that opens the nostrils. Smooth finish brings a little dried fruits and vanilla wrapped in a big bourbon coat. Smooth rich bourbon spicy finish. Fucken hell. Mahoooosive flavour and booze delivered in a fairly light palate. Stupendous.

Bittle shared at Dave's deal with the devil again tasting. Many thanks. A thick chewy dark brown black coloured pour with a halo of dark tan head. Aroma is intense dark rum and raisin, syrup alcohol. Cedar, harsh boozy. Toasted coconut, woody tannin, bourbon salt, boozy bourbon, vanilla, woody tannin. Super intense. Palate is warming spicy alcohol, mellow lowish carbonation. Spicy.

Right. Penta-vertical 1/3. Surprisingly smooth, slightly warming with loads of chocolate sauce, hints of caramel, prunes, berries, soft oakiness, vanilla, cocoa and barrel notes, hints of molasses. Complex and surprisingly balanced slow sipper. Tasty.
