IRISH COFFEE: Whiskey Barrel-Aged Gratitude
For this one, we've introduced some fresh roasted coffee beans from our GOOD FRIENDS at Commonplace Coffee and just a hint of madagascar vanilla beans. This is surely the biggest departure from the traditional B.A. Barleywine palette. The assertive nature of both coffee and Barleywine meld well together and the extra vanilla provides a bit of glue, upping the perceived sweetness a little, and giving a sense of creaminess without having to add any sugar or dairy to the mix. The whiskey elements from the barrel add just the right spirit essence to tie a little green bow around the whole thing

Dark reddish brown with an enormous foamy tan head that lingered forever. Sweet, tart and bitter with strong dark fruit & whiskey and undertones of caramel and coffee. Exceptionally long finish. Full bodied
