Our back alley dealings look a little bit different than most. To us, “the goods” are hops, malt and yeast. So when we get the goods, you end up getting a great local craft beer. This black lager for example, took three shady deals to produce but ends up being a drinkable, deliciously chocolatey and toasty beer.

This Black Lager poured a deep black with a creamy, tan coloured head. Nice lacing. Scents include roasted malts, molasses, must, cardboard and a wee bit of wieners. First swig was very good. A little thin but roasty. Flavours of coffee, dark cocoa, roasted malt and biscuit. Finish is burnt with toasted malt flavours lingering.
