A funkier evolution of our Wild IPA. Hand selected white wine barrels matured over four years with a Brett Wild Ale were blended with a fresh IPA, featuring Nelson Sauvin hops. Delicately bottle conditioned and roaring with complex, tart, & fruity flavours.

500mL bottle, pours an opaque muddy brownish orange with a small white headβlooks pretty unappetizing. Nose has plenty of bretty funk, muddled earthiness, and some melony hop tang. Flavour has a nice, fairly complex brett expression, with subdued citrusy, tangy hops, a touch of vinous character, but still with that muddled, earthy body. Nice brett expression, good blending; comes together reasonably well despite looking bad and being a bit muffled. Solid.

Looks awful, like pale mud. Has a bretty aroma. On the palate, it's got a creamy IPA base, with a decent bitterness, and there's a lot of brett in there as well. Finishes with some tartness. Not as cohesive as a brett IPA that was brewed that way, but still it's not bad. Score really dragged down by the terrible appearance.

500mL bottle. Pours a murky dull yellow with a white head. Brett, citrus, and grassy, tangy hops on the nose. Flavour has Brett, vinous white wine notes, nice layer of funkiness, and a tangy, white wine grape expression from the Nelson. Nice, this comes together well, good integration between the IPA and the Brett ale. I like this better than the Wild IPA.
