California Dreaming is a West Coast-Style IPA with an assertive hoppy bite. Pouring a clear orange color, a cloud of foam rises before clinging to the glass in a ripple of sticky lacing. Cascade, Mosaic, and Strata hops lead with aromas of lemon jam, blueberries, and strawberry bubblegum. Notes of caramel malt then fade into a crisp finish with lingering notes of pine and grapefruit peel.

The dreamy side of life is just a hop, skip, and a jump across the country. Ribbons of highway take us from sun-kissed beaches to star-studded boardwalks and palm trees that sway in the heat like a mirage. Everything seems to flow as we cruise past the ocean spray, surfers on one side and skaters on the other carving weightlessly by. Shades on, top down, into the redwoods we go.

Undated can, but it's around 1/9/26, drunk 2/17/26. Thanks to Chalumeaux for the can!
Wow, that's a crazy smelling WC IPA...So much honey-like malt and ultra-soft pine. Definitely a fruitier yeast than any WC IPA I've ever had, with almost notes of bubble gum. Yellow fruits, soft citrus. Really nice lack of resin/sweat/hard grapefruit character with soft malts to support everything.
Nice and soft, malty texture is deep and comforting. Honey and white bread galore with fruity yeast and a healthy, but not-overdone bitterness. No resin or alcohol, sweaty, overboiled hop nor heavy grapefruit. It's two months old so it's super soft and round and flavorful. The only I could see helping is a bit more bitterness, but I'm assuming that it probably had that when it was fresh.

Pours a very lightly hazy, pale straw yellow, with minimal head. Aroma is pine, citrus, some bread. Flavors follow, with a touch of berry in the mix. Clean, crisp mouthfeel. Moderate hop bitterness in the finish. Refreshing.
