Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a mug.
The appearance was a decent looking dark brown to slight black color.
There was a decent off-white one finger head that dissipated within less than a minute leaving some light lacing.
The smell had a roasted chocolate malt with some light barley and dried coffee.
The taste was mainly roasty but allowed a decent sweetness to come across in a nutty manner, not bad.
On the palate, this one is definitely a porter as it shows enough sessionability about it. The carbonation is good for the style.
Overall, good porter, there’s nothing wrong with it, and there’s nothing exceptional about it either.
