This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a black color. A bar pour yields no head.
The smell had some light citrusy fruit up front of the roasty tones that ended up coming across.
The taste was pretty much the same.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. The carbonation was there but wasn’t anything overbearing.
Overall, this was a decent stout worthy of having again. Perhaps a bit more roasty and/or coffee tones could have been added to scale back the citrusy parts of the aroma
