Sparkling and crisp like a nice day on the water, Pacific Kolsch is a west coast take on a German tradition. Prepared under strict adherence to the Reinheitsgebot from 1516, this specialty beer is made with pure spring water, hallertau hops, and British Columbian malt. Unfiltered and naturally carbonated, it is the perfect addition to an afternoon patio session or a journey along the BC coastline.

This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was hazy golden yellow with floaties. No worries, I read that this is unfiltered. A slim finger’s worth of head quickly dies and doesn’t leave any lacing.
The smell had a light sweet lemon graced with some sweet corn.
The taste copied the smell pretty much spot on. There was a light sweet sticky aftertaste with a wet finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a super nice sessionable aspect to it. Carbonation came across nice and crisp and sweet smooth.
Overall, good kolsch I’d have again. Would love to drink this on Summer’s days.
